On Aug. 27 at 10:36 a.m., he allegedly entered the Vist Bank branch at 8000 Verree Road and presented a demand note to a teller. The man took $12,499 from teller drawers and the vault before fleeing north on Verree, then west on Stanwood Street, police say.

He is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has a dark complexion, freckles or pock marks on his face and large eyes. He wore a Phillies cap and dark gray button-down shirt.

The same man may have robbed the Sovereign Bank at 500 Central Ave. in Cheltenham on Nov. 12; the Bank of America at 1000 Cottman Ave. on Nov. 30; the Bank of America at 6425 Rising Sun Ave. on Dec. 1; and the Verree Road Vist Bank on Dec. 2.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911. To report information about him, call 215–685-TIPS. ••
